Why You Should Add Ancient Nutrition's Bone Broth Protein Powder To Whatever You're Sipping On

On the hunt for a way to get all the benefits of bone broth while also getting the benefits (and convenience) of protein powder, I was thrilled to come across Ancient Nutrition’s Bone Broth Protein powder. In addition to all of those amazing health benefits, the all-natural powder boasts a ton of different flavors (I tried the vanilla, turmeric and chocolate) and is super easy to integrate into any diet. I tried each flavor with almond milk and plant-based smoothies for a few weeks, and here’s what I found.

My favorite flavor was a tie between the vanilla and tumeric, both of which were very subtle and especially good with the almond milk. The chocolate was delicious as well, but kind of just tasted like a good, old-fashioned glass of chocolate milk. The tumeric powder went really nicely with the almond milk, especially when warmed up. It made for a comforting and yummy morning drink.

The vanilla and chocolate flavors tasted great in a green smoothie; I just added a handful of spinach, some berries, half a banana, a big scoop of peanut butter and a splash of almond milk to make it easier to blend. It tasted great, and kept me energized all morning. I did find that the powder dissolved way easier in a warm drink or when blended properly with a NutriBullet; it tended to clump in colder liquids or when just stirred with a spoon.

Each drink I prepared with Ancient Nutrition’s Bone Broth Protein powder was fairly filling, and could easily be used as a meal replacement for breakfast—I easily made it to lunch without feeling like I was starved for something to eat. The convenience factor was especially key, since I tend to be rushing around in the mornings, and need my breakfast to be quick and easy. Even my boyfriend starting implementing it into his morning smoothie before his runs.

I was happy to see an increase of energy in the mornings, and was especially glad to see how it agreed with my gut, which tends to be super-sensitive to any new additions. Protein powders tend to be too heavy for my easily-upset stomach, but Ancient Nutrition’s Bone Broth Protein powder was super agreeable with my picky digestive system. I never felt bloated or overly full.

My skin looked clear and smooth, any of the inflammation that I tend to have noticeably better. As someone with a smaller frame who tends to eat small, plant-based meals often, I do sometimes feel in need of a boost of protein, so the powder also did the trick in that way—without me having to overthink meal planning. I look forward to keeping these powders in my daily wellness regiment!
