If you find yourself in Bozeman, Montana, and want to experience some of the majesty of this mountain town, a hike is your best bet for doing so. Here are the three best hikes in Bozeman, according to us, anyway.
1. M Trailhead, a 1.7-mile, moderately trafficked loop that features beautiful wildflowers. The trail is rated as moderate, and offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
2. Drinking Horse, a 2.2-mile trail that normally takes about 1-3 hours to hike. The trail is steep, and it is easiest to go counter-clockwise. Great views of Bridger Canyon and the Gallatin Valley.
3. Burke Park Trails—short and sweet with one of the best views of town. This is where you want to be for sunset before enjoying dinner downtown.
